Priest Builds

Are you searching for some Priest builds? It’s really annoying sifting through all the priest builds out there looking for the one that’s actually worth you spending time on, there are just so many different opinions on what you should be doing it’s hard to figure out which direction to take! A lot of sites give you 20 different options when all you need is just 1 or 2!
After having to deal with all that, I was finally able to find some of the best priest builds for leveling a priest as well as priest pvp, I’ve laid those builds out for you below…

Now as far as Priest leveling builds go, one of the best ones you can go for is one where you spec holy to level 49 or so, then switch over to shadow for 50-80:
Levels 10-49 (7/27/3)
First get Spirit Tap then get the 7 Discipline talents before going Holy..

Now while this will do well as a priest leveling build, if you want to get into priest PVP, you’ll need to change the spec as follows (20/0/51):
Shadow: Darkness 5/5, Shadow Affinity 2/3, Improved Shadow Word: Pain 2/2, Shadow Focus 3/3, Improved Psychic Scream 2/2, Mind Flay 1/1, Veiled Shadows 2/2, Shadow Reach 2/2, Shadow Weaving 3/3, Silence 1/1, Vampiric Embrace 1/1, Improved Vampiric Embrace 2/2, Mind Melt 2/2, Improved Devouring Plague 3/3, Shadowform 1/1, Shadow Power 3/5, Improved Shadowform 2/2, Misery 3/3, Psychic Horror 1/1, Vampiric Touch 1/1, Pain and Suffering 3/3, Twisted Faith 5/5, Dispersion 1/1

Now even after I had tried out the first of the above priest builds and begun leveling my priest, I found that the leveling was not going as smoothly as I had hoped…
I was leveling WAYY too slow!
I just didn’t get it, I had researched the best priest builds and found the best angle of attack but once I was at level 15, the levels were coming way too slow.
So I decided to ask a guild member who I knew power leveled a lot for some help. The first thing he said to me was that I was basically a noob for trying to power level with the little info that I had. He said I needed a real priest leveling guide. He said he’d been using the Zygor Leveling Guide and that if I’m not using something like that then I’m just wasting my time, lol. Anyway, I decided to have a look at it..

After looking into the guide a bit, I realized it wasn’t a written book but actually an in-game add-on that places a green arrow in front of your character. This arrow points you towards quests to take, monsters to kill off and shows you when and where to go to turn the quests in to level as fast as possible.
You also see a dialogue box which gives you more detailed written instructions, for example:
Kill 10 Bloodspore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (22,42)
Obtain 10 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (31,32)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok
So I began using this guide in combination with the first of the priest builds above and found my leveling speed drastically increased! It wasn’ t a perfect product though, some things annoyed me about it:
CONS:
- In the beginning they gave you an HTML version of the guide online, but they have since removed it, I guess someone started distributing the link? :/
- They need to give more videos showing how to do the hardest quests in the game, also some more class specific leveling info.
PROS:
- You get a Map Mod which overlays on your mini-map and shows you visually where you need to go to level up. This works well with the written dialogue box.
- The green arrow makes leveling really easy.
- This is not a hack, you won’t be banned for it.
- You get lifetime upgrades to the software and access to a members forum.
- There’s a 60 day money back guarantee.

If after you’ve checked out the above priest builds you find you’re still struggling to level a priest, you may want to have a look at this priest leveling guide to avoid some headaches.
I’ve been using the guide myself on my other characters and every time I’ve been able to get my guy to lvl 85 between 7 and 10 in-game days. It’s let me play classes I otherwise wouldn’t have had time for, which is nice.
